Taxi/Shuttle Service/MAX Light Rail
Taxi service from the airport to downtown Portland runs between $25.00 to $30.00. Springbrook recommends Blue Star shuttle service; rates with Blue Star are $14.00 per person to and from the airport. They can be reached at 503.249.1837 to make a reservation, although shuttles run every 30 minutes from the airport.

Using the MAX light rail system is a great way to get from the airport to downtown Portland. The MAX runs every 15 minutes and costs just $2.30. The MAX station at the airport is located on the baggage claim level; there are ticket machines both inside the terminal and outside at the MAX station itself. Purchase an all-zone pass and take the redline MAX until it arrives into downtown Portland at the Pioneer Square North stop. This ride will take approximately 45 minutes. From the MAX stop, walk north on SW 6th Avenue towards Oak Street; Springbrook is located on SW Oak between 5th & 6th Avenue. More information about taking MAX can be found at www.tri-met.org. From the Airport (PDX), westbound: From NE AIRPORT WAY, take the I-205 S ramp towards PORTLAND/I-84/SALEM.

-Merge onto I-205 S.
-Take the I-84 W/US-30 W exit, Exit 21B, towards PORTLAND.
-Merge onto I-84 W. Stay in the center lane (CITY CENTER) as approaching the I-5 split.
-Take the I-5 S exit toward SALEM. Stay in the right lane as the I-5 South ramp curves left.
-Take the OMSI/CITY CENTER Exit on your right and proceed to far right lane.
-From the Morrison Bridge entering downtown, you will end up on SW WASHINGTON STREET.
-Turn RIGHT onto SW 4th AVENUE.
-Turn LEFT onto SW PINE STREET.
-Drive straight ahead into the parking garage under the U.S. Bancorp Tower.

From Seattle, southbound: From I-5 heading south, take the OR-99E exit, Exit 300B, towards US-26 E/OREGON CITY/OMSI.

-Keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp. (CITY CENTER lane)
-From the Morrison Bridge entering downtown, you will end up on SW WASHINGTON STREET.
-Turn RIGHT onto SW 4th AVENUE.
-Turn LEFT onto SW PINE STREET.
-Drive straight ahead into the parking garage under the U.S. Bancorp Tower.

From Salem, northbound: From I-5 heading north, take the I-405 exit on the left towards CITY CENTER/US-26 W/BEAVERTON. Stay in the far left lane to merge onto SW HARBOR DRIVE.

-Merge onto SW HARBOR DRIVE.
-Continue straight and go through SW FRONT AVENUE, SW HARBOR DRIVE turns into SW CLAY STREET.
-Turn RIGHT onto SW 4th AVENUE.
-Turn LEFT onto SW PINE STREET.
-Drive straight ahead into the parking garage under the U.S. Bancorp Tower.

From Beaverton, eastbound: Take the SUNSET HIGHWAY, which becomes US-26 E. Stay in the center lane as you are approaching the Vista Ridge Tunnel after passing the Washington Park Zoo exit.

-Take the MARKET STREET exit. (Center lane in tunnel.)
-Continue straight on MARKET STREET towards 4th AVENUE.
-Turn LEFT onto SW 4th AVENUE.
-Turn LEFT onto SW PINE STREET.
-Drive straight ahead into the parking garage under the U.S. Bancorp Tower.
